The Bangor Recreation Center is a one-stop shop designed to meet all of your leisure needs! The facility is open to all authorized MWR patrons. Patrons ages 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18. Patrons ages 13 and over are permitted to utilize all areas, except those designated for 18 years and older.

Camp McKean Recreation Area

Camp McKean is located five miles west of Naval Base Kitsap Bremerton along the Kitsap Lake shoreline. The park is primarily for summer day use in support of Navy commands and authorized Fleet & Family Readiness patrons.

Elwood Point Recreation Area

Elwood Point is located within The Landings on Bremerton's scenic Ostrich Bay. This waterfront park features walking paths, a playground, picnic areas, a covered BBQ picnic pavilion, a softball field, basketball, tennis and volleyball courts.

Gallery Golf Course

An 18-hole, award winning course with spectacular views of the Olympic Mountains. The course overlooks the Strait of Juan de Fuca and Vancouver Island.

Trident Lakes Recreation Area

Trident Lakes Recreational Area features a softball field and two large covered cooking areas with large barbecue grills, perfect for a hungry crowd. Small picnic areas with grills are also available on a first come, first serve basis.

Twin Lakes

Twin Lakes provides some of the best fishing and boating opportunities in the Puget Sound Basin. Both upper and lower lakes offer approximately 35 acres each of natural freshwater trout fishing. Twin Lakes' Upper and Lower Lakes are open from May 1 - September 30 for day use and are accessible by car or on foot.

Vehicle Storage

Conveniently located on Bangor next to the Navy Exchange Gas Station. We have storage for vehicles from 10 to 40 feet within a fenced, secured by video surveillance, lighted, paved lot and 24/7 gated access.
