No Boating or Swimming at Camp McKean

Kitsap Public Health District issued a cyanobacteria warning for Kitsap Lake. The public should avoid all contact with lake water due the presence of toxic cyanobacteria - also known as blue-green algae. Until we receive a notice that the lake is safe to be in again, we will be suspending kayak, canoe, pedal boat and row boat rentals. In addition, we urge our customers to avoid fishing at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience. For more information, please contact the Kitsap Public Health District.
