Military chefs from Naval Base Kitsap, Naval Station Whidbey Island, Naval Station Everett, and other commands in the Pacific Northwest battled in culinary skills at Olympic College on May 6, 2023. The event had a Battling Chefs challenge with a secret ingredient and a POW*MIA theme. Capt. John Hale of Naval Base Kitsap and other officials judged the dishes.
