Softball League
Dust the competition on the softball field this season at NBK!
The NBK Intramural Sports Program provides quality recreational and competitive athletic opportunities that promote physical fitness, teamwork, morale, and esprit de corps among authorized patrons while supporting overall mission readiness and community engagement. Our program offers leagues, tournaments and clinics throughout the year to help keep our sailors and other authorized patrons healthy and engaged in our community.
Intramural sports at Naval Base Kitsap are available to Active Duty, AD Dependents, Retirees, Retiree Dependents, DoD Civilian Employees and NBK Contractors. Participants must be 16 years or older at the start of the season/tournament to participate.
NBK Sports Department offers intramural sports leagues throughout the year.
Navy and Marine Corps athletes from around Navy Region Northwest take on troops from Joint Base Lewis-McChord in this annual standoff between the rival teams. Traditionally held in honor of the Army vs. Navy college game, the Army and Navy alternate hosting the event each year. The game is semi-contact, 9-on-9 flag football. Team tryouts are typically held in September.
The game is organized by Navy Region Northwest MWR in conjunction with Joint Base Lewis-McChord MWR. With the support of local businesses and organizations, admission to the game is free and open to the public. It is a great opportunity for the community to cheer on local Sailors, Marines, Soldiers and Airmen as they compete for bragging rights each year.
All-Navy Sports invites sailors with the athletic skills to compete above the intramural level in a team or individual sports, an opportunity to represent the Navy at higher-level athletic competitions. All-Navy teams participate in the Department of War's Sports program and compete in the Armed Forces Championships against teams from the Marine Corps, Army and Air Force.
Bring your Brand to the Base and support local programs for sailors and their family members.
