Fleet & Family Support can help ease your transition. We offer courses and support as well as brochures, maps, a career center with internet access, and phone directories for the local area. Hospitality Kits

Fleet & Family Support offers hospitality kits to departing and newly arrived families. Kits include basic kitchen supplies, dishes, cups, and flatware. Optional items include coffee pots, irons and ironing boards, and bed rolls. Come in to Fleet & Family Support Center (Blue), Bldg 2901, today to pick up a kit! Kits are free, available on a first-come, first-served, and are loaned for one month periods. Extensions may be requested.

Kits are available Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4 pm and Fridays until 3 pm.

Military Moves

Proper planning will prevent undue stress for you and your family as you transition to unknown waters. Fleet & Family Support specialists provide one-on-one assistance and group classes, setting realistic expectations while you PCS.

Fleet & Family Support staff can help you navigate the Military Installations, Plan My Move, and Military OneSource websites to better understand the moving process. Specialists will assist with the research of new locations, to include cost of living, school information, and crime rates. They will assist in understanding the process of moving, the difference between Household Goods and Personnel Support Detachment (PSD), and more. Fleet & Family Support has all the tools to make your move a smooth sail.

Also offered are the Smooth Move and Final Move classes. Smooth Move provides Sailors and their families information on PCS moves, while Final Move provides information on retirement and separation moves.
