2022 NBK Summer Reading Program Activities

20 May 2022

The DoD MWR Libraries Summer Reading Program - presented by United Through Reading - is a great way to encourage a child, teen, or adult to read over the summer months. So let’s give them a little incentive to earn prizes for their reading! MWR customers of all ages are encouraged to join.

The DoD MWR Libraries Summer Reading Program has remained true to its long-standing mission, “To provide high quality, low-cost resources and products that enable local library staff to motivate children, young adults, and adults to read.” In addition, when participants meet their goals, they’ll receive prizes from their local installation library. The theme for Dpd Summer Reading Program is Read Beyond the Beaten Path. The broad motif of “summer camp at the library” can encompass a world of different summer experiences: from outdoor activities such as hiking, campfires, stories, and s’mores to nature programs, arts and crafts, music, and so much more!
