PPV Housing Tenant Satisfaction Survey Now Open

Naval Base Kitsap PPV Housing Tenant Satisfaction Survey runs October 28-December 13, 2021

All Resident Feedback is Important!

The PPV Housing Tenant Satisfaction Survey begins Friday, Oct. 28, and ends Monday, Dec. 13, 2021.  Below is a message from the Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC):

I urge all residents of Navy PPV housing to set time aside and make taking the TSS a priority,” With every tenant who takes the survey, CNIC and our PPV property managers gain better insight into current issues and potential resolutions to those issues, which results in program improvements that benefit current and future residents.

Edward Cannon, CNIC Fleet and Family Readiness Director

What is the PPV Tenant Satisfaction Survey (TSS)?

As a way of assessing the state of Navy PPV housing and the quality of services being provided, the Navy initiates an annual Tenant Satisfaction Survey (TSS) conducted by a third party to keep the results unbiased.  The survey is designed to accurately identify the current state of Navy housing and make informed decisions on needed improvements. This year’s TSS is scheduled to launch on Oct. 28, 2021, and will run through Dec. 13, 2021.

The TSS provides PPV residents an opportunity to provide valuable feedback and share personal experience living in PPV Housing.  This constructive feedback is an essential part of the Navy’s assessment of PPV housing and plays a vital role in determining resident satisfaction.

Who distributes the survey?

The Navy has contracted with independent third-party firm, CEL and Associates, to administer the FY 21 Tenant Satisfaction Survey (TSS) for privatized military housing. All PPV current residents are encouraged to participate in the survey with one survey available for each household.

How will I receive the survey?

Each household currently living in PPV housing will receive a survey link from CEL.  The email will be sent to the primary resident’s email address listed with Hunt Military Housing and contain the access code to complete the survey.  The survey link will be sent from CEL address, NavyHousingSurvey@celassocaites.com.  Check your spam or junk folder in case the survey is filtered by your email provider.  You can also add NavyHousingSurvey@celassocaites.com to your anti-spam software ahead of time to ensure the survey invitation doesn’t get filtered into spam folders.

What if I did not receive the survey?

  • Check your spam or junk folder
  • Check your spouse, partner, or other household member(s) email to determine if they received the email
  • Contact your Navy Housing Service Center (HSC) or CEL for assistance
Naval Base Kitsap Housing Service Center
    360-396-4399
    Kitsap_Housing@navy.mil
  • Contact CEL by email at NavyHousingSurvey@celassociates.com to obtain a survey link. When emailing CEL you must include:
    • Your installation name
    • Complete street address, including unit number, if applicable. Your address is needed to look up your home’s Survey ID and to verify one survey is completed per household.

Is the survey anonymous?

Yes. All who complete the survey will remain anonymous unless they request otherwise. Residents who wish to be contacted by Navy Housing Service Center can provide their information and request to be contacted in the comments section of the survey. If no request for contact is made, the contact information is collected and stored separately from the survey data so the Navy has no idea how an individual responded to the survey other than the comments provided. CEL does not provide the Navy or PPV partner with the resident contact information.

How are the survey results shared?

Once the survey is complete and finalized, the results are compiled and provided to the Navy and PPV partners in a summarized format. This information is what gives Navy leadership a snapshot of current PPV resident satisfaction with living in housing.

Why complete the survey?

All Navy PPV housing residents have a voice.  We encourage you to share your voice providing the Navy a current understanding of PPV housing conditions.  Your feedback is an essential part of the Navy’s assessment of PPV housing collecting critical information from as many residents as possible to encourage change and better serve our housing residents.
