April 2024 | Child Abuse Prevention Month

Child Abuse Prevention Month (CAPM) is an annual observance in the United States dedicated to raising awareness and preventing child abuse. April has been designated Child abuse month in the US since 1983. During this month, the Fleet & Family Service Center New Parent Support (NPS) Program recognizes the importance of communities working together to help families thrive, keeping children safe, healthy, and happy through education awareness.

Join our commitment to building awareness and increasing the use of positive parenting resources to help prevent child abuse and neglect; below are base awareness events.
