Naval Base Kitsap Unaccompanied Housing Tenant Parcel Delivery

In August 2023, Naval Base Kitsap (NBK) Unaccompanied Housing (UH), in partnership with Fleet Logistics Center (FLC), set up parcel delivery services for service members residing in NBK – Bangor barracks. The service provides parcel delivery services (US Postal Service, Amazon, FedEx, and UPS) at a centralized location convenient to barracks using the FLCs Intelligent Mail Locker (IML) system. Lockers are accessible 24 hours a day so that service members can retrieve online orders and packages mailed from family and friends at their convenience. NBK – Bremerton services is in November 2023. FLC intends to explore USPS regular mail service in a follow-up phase pending evaluation of usage rate and determining an optimal number of lockers needed to support expanded services. FLC Navy Mail Center supports this service.
