Rec Aid (Golf Course Pro Shop)
Location: Naval Air Station Whidbey Island - Gallery Golf Pro Shop
Pay Grade: NF-0189-01
This position provides quality customer service to all eligible patrons. Employee privileges include access to base facilities such as gyms, recreation centers, restaurants, and discount tickets to sporting and entertainment events, and shopping at the Navy Exchange.
Summary of Duties: This position is located at the Gallery Golf Course and incumbent will work at the Pro Shop counter. Incumbent is responsible for collecting and safe guarding of all funds collected and following correct cash handling procedures and policies. Will control tee time for patrons, ensure policies are followed, assist customers with equipment selection, providing information, and assure golf cars fleet is gassed, cleaned, and ready for customer use. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Knowledge of golf course resale and the basics of how to play golf desired. Must be able to work independently. Prior cash handling experience preferred. Work schedule is flexible and shifts may vary. The work is primarily standing, however, some walking; carrying and light lifting is occasionally required.
Conditions of Employment: These positions are subject to background check in accordance with federal regulations. Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays as this positions schedule will vary.
