Come end your summer of reading with a garden party! This event is all about plants and gardening. Learn to grow a salad garden in a container with the WSU Extension Kitsap County Master Gardeners. Bring plants to propagate to grow your botanical collection. Even if you don’t have a green thumb, come enjoy being outside for a BBQ and do some fun plant-themed crafts, such as making plantable seed paper, painting a garden sign with a professional who can teach you different techniques, watercolor plant art and more. Get an earthy henna tattoo that lasts for 5 or more days and safe for kids. BBQ dinner provided (cheeseburgers and hotdogs, chips and drink). Please do not bring your pets to this event.
