Two incredible bands – one unforgettable night! On August 9, Fitz and The Tantrums, joined by Parmalee, will take the stage at NB Kitsap-Bangor for a FREE Operation MWR concert hosted by Navy MWR Entertainment and presented by USAA.

NBK Morale, Welfare and Recreation is pleased to play host to these special musical guest artists to celebrate your summer and commemorate America's 250th birthday!

FAQs

Details: FREE concert. First come, first serve festival seating. Blankets & lawn chairs permitted. Prohibited items: all coolers, large backpacks, glass bottles, alcohol, pets, smoking or vaping, canopies, and umbrellas. All bags brought to the event must be stadium type clear see through bags and not exceed 12” x 6” x 12”. All bags are subject to inspection. A smoking area will be available.

Concessions. Food, beverages, and snacks will be available to purchase via MWR, NEX and the following food trucks: Hood Canal Street Eats, Juicy J’s, and NW Ice Cream.

Can I bring family members who do not have base access? Patrons may escort family members without base access onto base in their vehicle but must stay with them at all times. All escorted visitors must have a US Passport or Real ID to gain access.

Will we have ADA accessible seating and parking? Yes. ADA parking and seating will be available.

Can I bring my Pet? No. Registered Service Animals Only.

Where can I Park? Lots available are located at building 2720 (Bangor Plaza), and Chapel. A shuttle will be available from Bremerton and Naval Hospital for LIBERTY eligible personnel and from the overflow parking lot at the corner of Trigger Ave and Thresher Ave.

Restrooms. Porta Potties and a baby changing station will be set up for the venue.

Transportation. A free shuttle for LIBERTY eligible active duty from NBK-Bremerton and Naval Hospital Bremerton is available. Pick-up locations/times: Bremerton Recreation Center 1515 and 1645 and NHB Schon Hall 1530 and 1700. Shuttle departs after the concert at 2045. Registration is required by calling 360-476-3178 or stopping by the Bremerton Recreation Center.

 

Naval Base Kitsap's Operation MWR event is open to all with valid Department of War (DoW) ID cards and base access. DoW ID card holders (Active Duty, Dependents, Retirees, Reservists, and Civilians) can sponsor guests. All guests must be in the same vehicle as their DoW ID card holder and be wearing a seatbelt when entering the base. Guests 18 and over must show a REAL ID-compliant form of identification, such as a Washington State Enhanced Driver License, or a valid U.S. passport.
