Snowshoeing Trip

Learn the basics of snowshoeing in the Northwest from a US Forest Service Ranger! 

MWR staff will take you to Hurricane Ridge, where a park ranger will lead a 1.5-hour guided snowshoe tour of the area. After the tour, you’ll have about an hour to explore on your own (weather permitting) and grab lunch in Port Angeles.

The trip includes transportation, snowshoes, boots, poles, and an outer shell (jacket and pants). Wear layers and bring gloves, extra socks, and money for lunch. The guided hike is just under one mile around the Hurricane Hill area.
